9/27/23… Burlington, Washington: Friday Night, Levi Kuntz would hop back aboard the Sportsman Sprint Car at Skagit Speedway. A stout field of 17 Sportsman Sprint Cars would be in the pit area & ready to roll on Friday Night.
The night would begin with heta race action on Friday. He would start on the outside of the front row for the heat race. Unfortunately, his fuel pump would slide back & cause his car to stall. That would bring an end to his heat race & he would be credited with a 9th place finish.
Going into the feature, he would start in the 17th & final starting spot. Levi would march his way through the field throughout the feature event. He was able to make his way all the way up to the 4th spot. When the checkered flag fell, he would take home a 4th place finish, just outside of the podium.
After a tough start to the night in the heat race, Levi was able to rebound in the feature. He would end up charging his way all the way from the 17th spot to finish 4th.
Initially, they were scheduled to run both Friday & Saturday. However, with the weather not on their side, Skagit decided to only run the Sportsman Sprint Cars on Friday Night, so that would bring his weekend to an end.
