Levi Kuntz Grabs 4th Place Finish at Skagit Speedway!

7/13/23… Everson, Washington: Friday & Saturday Night, Levi Kuntz was back in action in Washington. He started the weekend with a 12th place finish at Deming Speedway, before jumping into the Sportsman Sprint on Saturday & grabbing a 4th place finish.


Friday started out with qualifying where Levi would go out in group two. Levi ended up timing in 2nd quickest in the group. That started him 4th in his heat race, where he would also go on to finish the heat race.


“Friday at Deming, qualified 2nd in group two went 4th to 4th in the heat.”


He would roll off from the feature on the inside of row five in the 9th spot. Levi would quickly get to 7th. However he would get upside down & have to go to the work area. They made repairs & got the #29k back on the track. However, Levi wouldn’t have a right rear shock, and had to battle to a 12th place finish.


“Started 9th & moved up to 7th. Made a mistake and flipped car, but was able to fix the tire and wing. We finished the race with no right rear shock and ended up 12th.”


Saturday, Levi was in action at Skagit Speedway with the Sportsman Sprints.


Levi was the 8th car to hit the track for qualifying. Going out 8th, Levi laid down a solid lap & ended up 9th quickest overall. He then started the heat race in the 4th spot, and was able to move forward & grab a 3rd place finish.


That put Levi starting the feature event on the inside of row three in the 5th spot. Starting 5th, Levi would have a good race. He battled inside of the top-5 as he was able to move forward, gaining one spot & finishing in the 4th spot.


“Saturday at Skagit qualified 9th & moved up from 4th to 3rd in the heat. Started 5th in the main and finished 4th.”


It was a solid weekend for Levi Kuntz in Washington. While the results weren’t good on Friday, he rebounded on Saturday Night & brought home a top-5 finish.
