By: Fast Time Media

7/4/23… Everson, Washington: Friday & Saturday Night, Levi Kuntz was back in action at both Deming & Skagit Speedway. His weekend started with an 11th place finish at Deming Speedway. It then ended with a 15th place finish at Skagit Speedway.

Friday started out with the scramble at Deming Speedway. Levi would start the scramble in the 6th position. He would work his way up to the 4th spot, where he finished the scramble.

That lined Levi up in the 4th spot for the feature event. Early on, Levi would move his way forward grabbing the 2nd spot by lap eight. Unfortunately, while trying to gain the lead Levi would spin & be sent to the back. He battled his way back up to an 11th place finish.

“Started 6th in the scramble and finished 4th. Started the main in 4th & was into 2nd on lap eight in the main. When the yellow came out they put the lapper between 1st and 2nd. We spun and went to the back & ended up finishing 11th.”

Saturday, Levi was in action at Skagit Speedway with the Sportsman Sprint Cars. He began the night with qualifying where he was the last car to hit the track. Despite going out late, he ended 5th quickest overall. That lined him up on the outside front row in his heat race where he would finish with the win.

“Pulled off 5th quickest in qualifying as the last one out. Starts 2nd in the heat & came out with the win.“

Levi would lineup on the outside of the front row for the feature event. Starting 2nd, Levi would battle up front early. Unfortunately, he would tap the wall & take out the rear end. Levi ended up finishing the feature event in the 15th spot.

Startes 2nd in the main but ended in 15th. Not exactly what we hoped for an outcome.”

It was a solid weekend for Levi in Washington. While he didn’t get the results that he wanted, he had a ton of speed both Friday & Saturday Night.

Levi would like to thank his sponsors; LiUNA! NW Region, George Anderson Co., Stillwater Trucking, Carrigan Enterprises Inc., Sno Valley Tree & Timber, Fat Shack, and Premiere Excavating.
