3/7/22... Press Release: Here at Fast Time Media, we are excited to announce that we will be working with & representing Logan Mitchell for the 2023 race season. Logan is the 22 year old, Santa Cruz California driver of the Logan Mitchell Motorsports Midget.
Logan would first get into racing his home track of Ocean Speedway. At the young age of 13, he would become a part of California legend, Brad Furr's pit crew. He would quickly start to become more involved with racing.
At 14 years old, Logan would join the Monterey Bay Karters, where he would run Pavement Go Karts. He would quickly get comfortable behind the wheel. Logan would end up winning the Rookie of the Year award.
From 2014-2016, Logan would take home nine wins. In 2017, Logan would continue to impress. He would end up taking home 6 wins over the course of the 2017 season. Then in 2018, he would run KPX full time on "California's Toughest Series" and was awarded the 2018 driver of the year.
2020 would see Logan make the switch from pavement to dirt racing. Logan would have no isssie with switching. In just his first season on dirt, he would win the 2020 "Tulare Kings Kart Club Championship".
The following year would see Logan continue to find success. He would sweep the "Four Race Delta Series", as he would run 2 different divisions. During the 2021 season, Logan was able to find himself in victory lane 15 times, quickly finding success on dirt.
In 2022, new challenges would present themselves to Logan. He would run his first year with the WMR Midgets. Logan would run 16 WMR MIDGET races & end up bringing home the 2022 "WMR Rookie of the Year".
Logan will be looking to improve over the course of the 2023 season. He has shown the ability to adapt quickly & will be looking to reach victory lane in 2023, & chase after the 2023 WMR Midget championship!
