He would get his night started off with heat race action, where he would roll off from the pole position. Starting on the pole, Logan would run some good laps but made a few mistakes. Those mistakes would cost him a couple of spots & he would finish in the 3rd spot.

That put Logan on the outside of row three for the feature event. Starting 6th, Logan would battle issues in the feature. He would then get into a spinning car & breaking the torsion stops. He would come to the work area before returning to the track & charging from 15th to 10th.

"In the heat race I started 1st & finished 3rd. I just made some mistakes, ran the wrong spots & the. In the main event we had some throttle issues and a car spun in front of us. I had no where to go & hit them and broke the torsion stops. I went to the work area and came from 15th to 10th with a wrecked car."

Saturday in Petaluma would get started with more heat race action. He would struggle in the heat race & find it hard to make any moves. When the checkered flag fell, Logan finished where he started in the 7th spot.

"I started 7th in the heat but had too high of a gear &really couldn’t do anything. Then started 14th in the main event. We made some changes and we were on a furious charge coming from 14th to 4th but ended up 3rd because a car got DQ'd for being under weight."

It was another good weekend for Logan Mitchell & his team. Despite the issues on Friday, he would end up grabbing some solid results & impressed all weekend long.
