11/3/22…Bakersfield California: Saturday Night, Max Mittry and his team would make the trip to Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield California for the 2nd to last points race of the season. A very strong field of 20 Winged 410 Sprint Cars would be in the pit area ready to roll on Saturday.
First up for Max would be single car qualifying as he would end up being the 9th car out, looking to lay down a good lap. He would do just that as he would end up being 10th quick out of the 20 Winged 410 Sprint Cars in attendance.
Max would roll off from heat race number 1 in the first position. Starting on the pole Max would look to finish there to make the dash. However he would end up falling back to 3rd and finishing there, missing the dash but still getting a solid finishing spot in the heat race.
He would then start the feature from the 11th position on the inside of row 6. Starting 11th, Max would battle right around the edge of the top-10 for most of the feature. When the checkered flag would fall, Max would finish in the 10th spot and round out the top-10.
Overall it was a solid night for Max and the Mittry Motorsports Team. He continued his impressive rookie run with another top-10. They will look to end the NARC season on a strong note at the Stockton Dirt Track.
