7/11/23… Petaluma, California: Saturday Night, Nick Parker was back in action for the first time since the Dirt Cup at Skagit Speedway. He would put together a pretty solid night of racing, where he would top it off with a 10th place finish.
Nick started the night out in qualifying, where he was the 8th of 18 cars to hit the track. Nick would continue his string of strong qualifying runs. He laid down a time that put him 4th quickest overall in qualifying.
That lined him up on the pole of heat race number one. Starting 1st, Nick would slip back in the heat race. He fell backwards two spots to 3rd. Once in 3rd, Nick was able to hang on to the position & finished the heat race in 3rd.
He would start the feature event on the outside of the fourth row in 8th. Starting 8th, Nick would battle inside of the top-10. He was able to keep himself inside the top-10 throughout the feature & finished the feature event in 10th.
Nick put together one of the best nights of the 2023 race season. He continued his strong qualifying efforts, & brought home his first NARC top-10 of the season.
