5/30/23... Marysville, California: Saturday Night, Nick Parker would be in action with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour. He would have some really good speed but would finish 23rd with a DNF. Sunday, he would be in action at Silver Dollar Speedway & bring home a 10th place finish with the 410 under the hood.
Nick started the weekend off with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour. He would be the 5th car to rollout for qualifying in group one & would end up 5th quick. That lined him up 5th in the heat race, where Nick would grab a 3rd place finish.
That lined him up 13th for the feature event. Early on, Nick would lay down some good laps. Unfortunately, just seven laps into the feature, Nick would have some issues that would end up bringing his night to an early end.
Sunday, Nick would swap to the 410 & race at his home track of Silver Dollar Speedway. He would be the 8th car out for group three qualifying & would be 3rd quick in the group. Nick would then start 3rd in the heat race, where he would fall backwards & finish in the 4th spot.
In the feature, Nick would roll off from the 10th spot. It was a very strong field of 410 Sprint Cars, but Nick would have some good speed. He would fight to stay inside of the top-10 & when it was all said & done, Nick would finish where he started in the 10th spot.
Overall, it was a good weekend for Nick Parker. He would face some tough competition both nights, but showed off some solid speed all weekend with hot the 360 & 410 under the hood.
