11/2/23… Bakersfield, California: Saturday Night, Nick was back in action at Kern County Raceway Park. He’d take on the NARC 410 Sprint Cars in his only trip to the track in 2023. It would also be the second to final race of the 2023 NARC season.
Nick would start the night out with time trials. He hit the track & would be looking to put himself into a good spot for the rest of the night. He would end up putting down a time of 12.563 & that would be enough to time him in 15th quickest overall.
His heat race would see him to roll off from the inside of row three in the 5th spot. Taking the green, Nick would quickly get into line in the 5th spot. Once in 5th, he’d just rip off some solid laps. Nick ended up finishing where he started in the 5th position.
Entering the feature, he’d roll off from the 15th starting spot on the inside of row eight. Starting deep, he’d just run around where he started. Quickly, the leaders began to reel in the back of the field. With around 11 to go, Nick would pull into the infield & finish in the 19th spot.
It was a rough night for Nick as he could just never get into a rhythm. He’d be put behind the 8-ball in qualifying & never quite recover. A 19th place finish would bring an end to his night.
