Nick Parker Has Tough Start To California Race Season!

By: Chris Santos

3/29/23... Placerville CA: Saturday Night, Nick Parker would make his return to California Sprint Car Racing. He would make his first laps this year in California, with the Sprint Car Challenge Tour at the always tough, Placerville Speedway.

Nick would get his night started with qualifying, as he would be the 9th of twelve cars to hit the track for group three in qualifying. Things got off to a tough start as he would end up 11th quick in his group.

In his heat race, Nick would start in the 11th position on the inside of row six, courtesy of his qualifying time. Unfortunately, things would continue to not go his way, as he would finish the heat race four laps down & would finish in the 11th position.

That would line up Nick in the 9th spot for the C-main. He would have his work cut out for him as only two cars transferred to the B-main. It was tough to pass on the tight Placerville Speedway. Nick would end up falling back to 11th where he would finish & end his night early.

Unfortunately it was a tough start to his season in California. He would have some bad luck throughout the night, and that ended with a C-main outing for Nick. He will look to rebound as his season in California is just getting started.

Nick would like to thank his sponsors; PARKER AUTOMOTIVE, ROCK KNOCKER, METAL TEC, BG OIL  & LUBE , SBS SHOCKS, MAXIM CHASSIS, AND ASI MOTORS.
