Popped Tire Halts Good Run For Austin Ervine at Central Arizona Raceway!

By: Fast Time Media

6/14/23.... Casa Grande, Arizona; Saturday Night, Austin Ervine would be back in action at Central Arizona Raceway with the ASCS CAR Sprint Cars. He put together a solid night & was battling near the top-5 before a late race popped tire ended his race.

The night began with heat race action, which saw Austin roll off from the inside of row number three in the 5th spot. Starting 5th, Austin would battle hard but ultimately finished where he started in the 5th position.

He would roll off from the 14th spot in the feature event. Early on, Austin found his way inside of the top/10. However, he continued the charge forward as he would battle his way to just outside the top-5. Unfortunately with three laps to go, a racing incident would cause his left front tire to pop & end his night early in 13th.

"Started 14th in the feature and finished 13th. With 3 laps to go we popped a left front tire from a racing deal."

It wasn't the ending that Austin wanted at Central Arizona Speedway. However, Austin was on the verge of a top-5 finish before the abrupt ending to his night.

Austin would like to thank his sponsors; Pritchett Metal Products, Cal Pro Turf, and the Jolly Tamale.
