Rocha 9th at Kings Speedway!

By: Fast Time Media

9/19/23… Hanford, California: Thursday Night, Ryan Rocha was back in action after a little more than a month off. He would battle a tough field of cars on Thursday Night as they opened up the 2023 Tom Tarlton Classic.

Ryan started the night out as the 7th of 28 Winged 360 Sprint Cars. Going out early would be a disadvantage on Thursday Night. The track would get faster as qualifying went on, and Ryan would have to settle for 17th quickest overall out of 28 Winged 360 Sprint Cars.p

He would go out for the heat race & roll off from the 5th spot. Once the green fell, Ryan would get in line in the 5th spot. He would try & reel in 4th place Dawson Faria but ran out of time. Ryan would finish 5th, but that was still enough to put him into the feature event,

It would be a long feature, as Ryan rolled off from 15th. He would do a good job of keeping the car out of trouble. As a caution filled race continued, Ryan slowly found himself moving towards the front. When the feature would finally come to an end, Ryan would come home 9th.

Overall, it was a good night for Ryan & his team. They were dealt a bad hand in regards to qualifying, having to go out on a slower track. However, Ryan made up for it throughout the night & brought home a top-10 finish.

Ryan’s 2022 stats: 21 Events, 17 features, 0 wins, 0 top-5’s, 3 top-10’s.

Ryan would like to thank his sponsors; K&M AG, R&R Farms, Fagundes Auto Body, Van De Pol Petroleum, Myers Well Drilling Inc., Spy Graphics, Brasil Hay, Davis Motorsports, Valley Oxygen, Aardema Group, Twin Ridge Genetics, Mesa Alta Transportation Inc., Tiner Hirst Enterprise, Don Otts Racing Engines, Davis Farms, Champlin Farms, Hoosier Tire, Simpson Racing Products, Daval Building Maintenance, Bob’s Gun Shop, Scotty Martin, Wendi Rocha, Megan Rocha, and Kaylie Rocha.
