6/29/23… Placerville, California: Saturday Night, Ryan Rocha would make his first trip to Placerville Speedway in 2023. The competition would be tough, but Ryan brought home a 16th place finish on Saturday Night.
He began Saturday Night as the 10th car to hit the track for single car qualifying. Rolling out 10th, Ryan was able to lay down a pretty solid lap. That lap put the driver of the 5R 10th quickest overall in qualifying.
That started him on the outside of the front row for heat race action. The driver of the 5R got on the hammer, as he tried to battle his way to the lead. Ryan would fall back to the 3rd spot & finished the heat race there.
Ryan started feature event action from the outside of row number six in the 12th spot. Starying 12th, it would be tough to move around & pass. He battled hard throughout the feature event, but fell backwards a few spots & finished in the 16th spot.
It was a solid first visit of 2023 to Placerville Speedway. Ryan had a lot of positives in Placerville, and brought home a solid finish on Saturday Night.
