9/13/24… Placerville, California: Saturday Night, Seth Standley was back in action at Placerville Speedway. Coming off a weekend where he’d make both features at the NorCal Posse Shootout, Seth looked to have another strong weekend.
The NorCal Posse Shootout saw a strong showing for Seth as he made both features. He started the weekend out with an 11th place finish after starting 4th, and then finishing the weekend out with a 19th place finish on Sunday.
This Saturday he kicked the night off with time trials, being the 20th car out. Going out late in qualifying, he was able to lay down a time 10.989 which was enough for him to go 10th quickest. That set him up to roll off on the outside front row in his heat race. Seth ended up falling back to 3rd & finishing there.
That set Seth up to start the feature event on the outside of row six in the 12th starting spot. Starting 12th, Seth would try to stay out of trouble & move forward. Staying out of trouble, he’d fall back to the 14th spot & finish there.
It was another good night for Seth as he carries a lot of momentum into this weekend’s finale at the track. He was once again able to keep the car out of trouble & finish in the 14th spot.
