6/19/24… Hanford, California: Friday Night, Seth Standley was back in action. After a weekend off, Seth was ready to roll on Friday Night. He would be in action with the Kings of Thunder Winged 360 Sprint Cars at Kings Speedway.
The night started out with a solid qualifying run on Friday. He would be the 3rd car to hit the track but was able to lay down a pretty good lap given track conditions. Laying down a time of 15.213, it was enough for Seth to time in 5th quickest overall in qualifying.
Next up was the heat race where Seth rolled out from the outside of the front row in 2nd. Starting 2nd, Seth would end up falling backwards. He fell back to the 4th spot, where he’d hang on & grab a 4th place finish.
Despite a tough heat race, Seth was slated to start the feature event from the inside of row two in the 3rd starting spot. Seth had a solid feature but wasn’t able to move forward. He slipped back to the 6th spot & finished the feature event there.
Ultimately, it was a solid night for Seth at Kings Speedway. He continues to get more laps at the track & gets better each time. The night was capped off with a 6th place finish.
