Seth Standley Has Tough Fall Nationals!

By: Fast Time Media

10/11/23… Chico, California: This past weekend, Seth Standley was back in action as they took on the Fall Nationals. With around 60 cars in action both nights, the competition would be tough as Seth looked to have two solid nights in Chico.

Friday would be a short night for Seth & his team. He would begin the night in the fourth group for time trials. Seth would end up laying down a time of 12.562 which put him 13th quickest in the group. Qualifying outside of the top-12 in the group, Seth was slated to go out for the LCQ but didn’t make it out & that brought his night to an end.

Saturday would be a much better night for Seth. He once again began the night with time trials, but this time he was in group one. He was the 6th car out & ended up timing in 8th quickest. That would line him up in the 8th spot for his heat race. After starting 8th. Seth would end up finishing where he started in 8th.

That sent Seth to the B-main where he’d roll off from the 9th starting spot on the inside of row five. Seth would need to get into the top-4 to transfer to the feature. After starting 9th, Seth would fall back to the 11th spot where he’d finish & end the night.

It was a tough weekend for Seth Standley at the Fall Nationals. Friday would be the toughest of the two nights, but Saturday went much bette for Seth. He definitely improved on Saturday & will look to carry that momentum into Trophy Cup.

Seth would like to thank his sponsors; SALCO Better Energy, Swimming Pool Perfections, and Yuba City Scrap and Steel.
