9/27/22…Antioch California: Saturday Night, Blake Bower & his team would make the last second decision to head to Antioch to run with the WMR Midgets. A solid field of 9 WMR Midgets would be in the Antioch Speedway ready to roll on Saturday Night.
The Night would start off with qualifying for Blake Bower. He would continue to show off the speed he has had all season. Out of the 9 WMR Midgets to hit the track, Blake would end up going 3rd quick and setting himself up nicely for his heat race on Saturday Night.
Blake would start on the outside of the front row of the heat race as he would help lead the field to green. However things would take a quick turn for Blake as on just lap number 2, a slide job would be pulled on Blake, causing him to go into the wall & causing enough damage to end his night early.
Unfortunately the damage would be just too much for them to make it back out. His night would end early as he would miss the rest of the heat race & the feature event. Saturday would result in what was maybe his worst finish of the 2022 season.
