11/16/22…Antioch California: Saturday Night, Wyatt Van Lare and his team would make the trip to Antioch California for the Sprint Car Showcase & the return of Winged Sprint Cars in Antioch. A strong field of 23 Winged 360 Sprint Cars would be in the pit area ready to go on Saturday Night.
He would get his night rolling in group qualifying as he would be in the 4th car out overall & in the first of three groups. He would end up going 6th quick out of the 8 Winged 360 Sprint Cars that would be in his group.
The heat race would see Wyatt start on the outside of the 3rd row in the 6th starting position. Starting 6th, Wyatt would have a tough heat race. He would end up falling back into the 7th position and roll around there before finishing there & putting himself in a deep feature starting spot.
Wyatt would then roll off from the 21st position on the inside of row number 11th. Wyatt would get rolling in the feature, as he would start passing cars. Wyatt would keep moving forward with the help of some cautions. However, he showed great speed & would end the feature in the 7th spot going plus 14 spots & being the hard charger.
It would end up being a great night for Wyatt and his team. He would struggle early in both qualifying and his heat race. However, in the feature he would get into a roll and impressed in Antioch as he would take home a very solid top-10.
